Made from found, used and discarded materials such as dried teabags, candle wax, plastics, clothing labels and packaging. Their previous function remains visible and becomes part of the work.
Working by hand, I transform these materials into sculptural objects through processes such as spinning, weaving, sewing, melting and assembling. Each process responds to the material itself rather than concealing its origin.
The works examine how materials change through use and transformation, and how familiar objects can be perceived in new ways.
