Performance at Kunstforum Stadtbad Brandenburg 2022

Debris records a 1-hour performance at Stadtbad Brandenburg in 2022 by Katharina Forster.
Stadtbad Brandenburg build in original Bauhaus style and left to decay over the years.
In 2022 artist were allowed to perform one hour each in the empty swimming pool for one afternoon. My interest lay in all the stories that happened in the former public bath. The swimming lessons taken, the family outings, the happy and thoughtful incidence which are now almost forgotten. Taken over by the visuals of graffiti artist.

I acted and reacted to my experience in the empty pool, by meditative laying a pattern with used tea leaves on the ground. Intuitively following the silence around me, the shape of the tiles, the forms of the graffiti, the thoughts in my mind.
